Job Description

As a Security Officer - Realty Patrol in Santa Clara, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate and more .

As a Security Officer in a commercial real estate setting, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a visible presence throughout the location. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, interacting with tenants and visitors, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. You will be part of a team that values agility, reliability, and innovation, always putting people first and acting with integrity. Your contributions will support a welcoming and secure environment for everyone at the property.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $24.45 / Hour

Job Schedule

DayTime

Sat 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

Sun 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements

  • At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
  • CA Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or have 5 years of verifiable experience.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
