Overview

Am-Gard has been providing security guard service to the southwestern Pennsylvania region for over 40 years. Incorporated in 1983, Am-Gard is a third-generation family owned and operated Pittsburgh-based business. Job Skills / Requirements

Successful candidates will be able to work in a public library environment with excellent public relations and customer service skills.

Officers must be able to:

1. Communicate effectively with staff, members, and visitors
2. Patrol and report effectively to support the client's security and safety program
3. Have excellent report writing skills and maintain accurate logs
4. Respond to emergencies in a professional manner
5. Manage access and egress to and from the facility
6. Willingness to assist and create a positive work environment
