Job description

Security Officer

Position: Full-time, 1.0 FTE, 8‑hour variable shifts, 40 hours per week.
Location: Providence Valdez Medical Center, Valdez, AK.

Under supervision, performs all technical duties relative to maintaining a safe and secure environment. This includes monitoring surveillance equipment, conducting patrols, and responding to incidents.

Required Qualifications

• Driving may be necessary; must comply with all state laws and requirements for driving. Proof of driver’s license and auto insurance required upon request.
• Experience with various computer programs, databases and Microsoft Office programs.

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in security or military.
• At least 1 year of experience in healthcare security.
