Job summary

CNS Healthcare is seeking a Security Officer to protect assets, staff, and visitors at our Pontiac, MI facilities. You will perform hourly patrols, monitor access, and enforce security and safety procedures to prevent theft and incidents.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2–3 years of security experience.
• Knowledge of security operations and safety practices.
• Ability to de-escalate confrontations effectively.
• Excellent report writing and communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Performs hourly security patrols.
• Monitor building and property access.
• Enforces parking, security, and safety procedures.
• Assists in prevention of theft, sabotage, fire and accidents.
• Investigates and writes reports on incidents.
• Greets and aids employees and visitors.
• Serves as training officer to new security staff.
• Other duties as assigned
