Allied Universal Roebuck, SC is seeking a Security Officer - Property Access. Join a team that protects customers and tenants in a retail mall environment, providing a professional presence, responding to incidents, and supporting a safe, welcoming atmosphere.

Responsibilities include monitoring entrances, patrolling common areas, and assisting visitors while reporting security concerns according to site procedures. The role offers full-time hours and a $19/hour pay rate.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout retail common areas, entrances, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting security-related concerns, maintenance issues, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Assist with directing visitors and responding to routine inquiries while maintaining accurate incident and activity documentation.

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Tue 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sat 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM
• Sun 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM
