Job description

Are you an experienced Security Officer? Then we have a great opportunity for you at Suburban Hospital located in Bethesda, Maryland!

Position Summary:

1. Ensure the safety and security of hospital staff, patients, and visitors by adhering to department policies and procedures, and utilizing excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
2. Drive employees to the Metro outside regular shuttle hours and make occasional special runs to other facilities for urgent supplies.

Educational Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED

Experience/Requirements:

1. Must be 21 years or older to apply and test for the Security Police Officer License.
2. Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no more than 2 points).
3. At least one year of security experience preferred.
4. Complete security officer and customer service training within 90 days of hire.
5. Previous hospital security experience is a plus.
6. Availability to work various shifts with a 30-day notice for shift changes.

Shift Details:

Full-Time, Night Shift, Weekend work required, Non-Exempt

Benefits and Compensation:

Comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, and 401K. Salary is competitive and based on experience, ranging from $1.00 to $1,000.00 per hour. Salary discussions will occur during screening.
