Job summary

A healthcare provider located in Mesquite, NV, is seeking a Security professional to protect life and property within the hospital. Responsibilities include patrolling the grounds, securing buildings, and responding to security needs of patients and visitors. Required qualifications include a high school diploma, BLS certification, and preferably previous security experience. The pay range is $16 - $19.50 depending on experience.

As Security: Protects life and property of Mesa View Regional Hospital patients, visitors and staff. Patrols hospital campus and grounds to prevent fire, thefts and vandalism. Secures, unlock and protects hospital buildings. Responds to the security needs of Mesa View Regional Hospital patients, visitors and staff. All other duties as assigned that are within the scope of practice.

Other Duties Include: Performing any duty task that pertains to maintaining the facility and to help any craft that may need assistance. May also function as a non-licensed Patient Sitter to observe patients for any behavior that could indicate potential problems for patient or staff.

High School graduate or equivalent. BLS required, CPI within 3 months of hire.

Pay range: $16 - $19.50 (depending on experience)

• High School or better.

Experience

• Previous Security experience preferred. Possess good and pleasant communication and customer service skills. Light maintenance experience desired.

Licenses & Certifications

• Required: C-ARC-BLS
• Preferred: C-CPI Crisis Prevention
