Employment Type: Part time Shift: Day Shift Description: TITLE: Security Officer ELSA STATUS: Non-Exempt DEPARTMENT: Safety & Security SUPERVISOR: Manager — Facilities, Security & Emergency Preparedness GENERAL SUMMARY: The Security Officer carries out the responsibilities of maintaining order within the hospital by monitoring and securing the premises and by responding to threats and safety concerns. Enforces all health center regulations in accordance with applicable operation guides. This position will provide support to nursing and other staff in management of escalating patient/family situations by working to de-escalate the people involved. This position will assist patients and families with customer service needs by serving as an ambassador for the clinic and hospital.
