Allied Universal is a leading security and facility services company seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Power Plant Patrol Driver in Darlington, MD.

You will provide customer service to employees and visitors, conduct patrols, monitor access, and respond calmly to incidents at a utilities location, while following site procedures and policies. This is a part-time schedule with growth opportunities and exclusive perks.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and/or delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies at a utilities location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate visitor, vehicle, and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and coordinating with appropriate personnel and emergency responders.
• Report hazards, equipment concerns, suspicious activity, and policy violations to site leadership and Allied Universal management in accordance with established procedures.

Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon - 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Tue - 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Wed - 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
