Allied Universal is hiring a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Patrol Guest Assistance in Philadelphia, PA. You will patrol, assist guests, and maintain a visible security presence to deter incidents and ensure safety in cultural spaces.

Position type: Full Time. Pay rate: $16.25 per hour. Work schedule includes day shifts across the week. Join a team focused on service, integrity, and teamwork while protecting valuable artworks and property.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout galleries, public spaces, staff areas, and the property perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, report unusual conditions or policy violations, and document incidents according to Allied Universal and location procedures.
• Support the protection of artwork, exhibits, and cultural property by maintaining awareness of surroundings and following established handling and access-control protocols.

Minimum Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
