Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories as allowed by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law; licensing may be required.

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security procedures and access screening.
• Screen individuals and items entering the location using assigned equipment and procedures, escalating prohibited items.
• Verify access credentials, maintain visitor/contractor entry records, and direct authorized persons to designated areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations following site procedures and escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular patrols of entry points, screening areas, and the surrounding perimeter to deter unauthorized access.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $19.17 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thur 10:30 PM - 06:30 AM
• Fri 10:30 PM - 06:30 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access screening protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Screen individuals and permitted items entering the technology-focused location using assigned equipment and established procedures, escalating prohibited items or irregularities to appropriate personnel.
• Verify access credentials, maintain visitor and contractor entry records, and assist with directing authorized persons to designated areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned entry points, screening areas, and the surrounding business perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
