Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in a security-related role is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, access-control requirements, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, operational areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access, maintain visitor and vehicle logs, and communicate access concerns to appropriate site contacts.
• Observe and report potential hazards, spills, damaged equipment, or other unusual conditions to designated personnel in accordance with site procedures.

As a Security Guard Full Time Perimeter Patrol in Newell, WV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and help maintain a secure environment for personnel and operations. • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
