Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is looking for a Security Officer Perimeter Patrol in China, MI to protect clients across utilities and other locations. You will perform unarmed patrols, maintain a visible presence, and deliver courteous customer service while following site procedures.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay Rate: $16.91 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Mon: 06:30 AM - 05:30 PM

Wed: 06:30 AM - 05:30 PM

Fri: 06:30 AM - 05:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a utility services location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity and report observations according to site procedures.
• Monitor access to assigned areas, verify credentials as required, and assist with visitor, contractor, and delivery procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting actions taken.
• Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications while maintaining awareness of changing site conditions.
