Job Description

As a Security Officer - Patrol Vehicle BOISE, ID, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel while following site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of construction areas, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and document entries, exits, and unusual activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly communicating observations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, and security-related concerns, including conditions that may require follow-up.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least two years of security-related experience is required.
• Supervisory experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
