Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Patrol Technology Unarmed in Newport, KY. You will provide customer service, monitor and patrol assigned areas, support access control, and respond to incidents following site procedures.

As part of a dynamic team, you will use tablet systems to report observations, maintain a visible presence, and help deter security-related incidents while upholding company standards and safety policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum one: Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and tenants by following site procedures.
• Respond to incidents calmly and report observations per procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of the property, including common areas and perimeters.
• Monitor for unusual activity, policy violations, and hazards, reporting to appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control, visitor directions, and information with a professional presence.

As a Security Officer Patrol Technology Unarmed in Newport, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally with visitors and staff, and use computer or tablet systems as needed. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $16.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Tue: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Wed: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Thur: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Fri: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or tenants by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the property, including public areas, parking facilities, access points, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor for unusual activity, policy violations, and potential hazards, and report observations to appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control, visitor directions, and general information while maintaining a professional presence at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
