Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and delivery personnel while carrying out site‑specific security procedures at a logistics and distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, parking areas, trailer yards, loading docks, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and support visitor, contractor, and driver entry processes per site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and following established procedures.
• Document observations, incidents, and security‑related activities through required reports and communication channels.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Compliance in Grove City, OH, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $17.98 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeMon06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and delivery personnel while carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures at a logistics and distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, parking areas, trailer yards, loading docks, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and support visitor, contractor, and driver entry processes in accordance with site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Document observations, incidents, and security‑related activities through required reports and communication channels.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
