Allied Universal in Somers Point, NJ is seeking a part-time Security Officer Patrol Route Driver to serve patients, visitors and staff in a healthcare setting. The role requires a valid driver’s license and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and escorts as needed, and report unusual conditions, hazards, or policy violations to site leadership.
• Prepare accurate incident reports and maintain clear communication with healthcare staff, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership.

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
