Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer for full-time security rounds at a utilities location in Dorchester, MA. You will monitor and patrol, deter unauthorized activity, and provide superior customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors.

Minimum requirements include being 18+ (21+ for armed roles), a high school diploma, and successful background checks and drug screening as per law. Excellent communication and reliability are essential for success.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a utility location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and document relevant activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Report observed hazards, equipment concerns, and unusual conditions to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal supervision.

Pay Rate: $25.32 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Thur 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sat 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sun 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
