Job summary

Security America, Inc. in Apple Grove, WV is seeking full-time security officers to patrol assigned areas, monitor activity, report suspicious events, and respond to emergencies to keep client properties safe.

New hires are eligible for a bonus after introductory periods; benefits include health and vision insurance, IRA options, and paid vacation. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with prior security experience a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous security experience is a plus but not required.
• Must be able to pass drug screening and provide transportation to work.

Responsibilities

• Patrols and monitors an assigned area; report suspicious activities and document all suspicious activity.
• Contacts law enforcement or fire department in case of an emergency.
• After business hours, checks doors, windows, and gates to ensure the property is secure.
• Investigates reports of suspicious activity on the property.
• Escorts discharged staff, trespassers, and other unwelcome parties off the premises.
