Allied Universal in Dunkirk, NY is seeking a part-time Security Officer for Patrol Response to safeguard clients across manufacturing and industrial sites. You will perform routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, and report security concerns with professionalism and clear communication.

As a PT position, you can build a flexible schedule and participate in our shift-claim platform. The role emphasizes customer service, integrity, and teamwork within a responsive security team.

Qualifications

• Guard card or license preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, offices, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials as directed, maintain visitor logs, and help support controlled access to restricted areas.
• Document observations, incidents, and shift activities in accurate reports and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
