Allied Universal is hiring a Part Time Unarmed Patrol Readiness Security Officer in Dallas, TX. The role focuses on protecting clients across tech/media/telecom environments with a strong customer-service mindset.

Qualifications

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $21.42 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sun 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology and telecommunications location.
• Respond to incidents, service disruptions, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, offices, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and report suspicious activity, damaged property, or policy violations to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications in accordance with site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
