Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer in Wakefield, RI for full-time unarmed patrol operations in a healthcare setting. You will monitor areas, deter incidents, and provide a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff.

You will respond to emergencies and incidents with professionalism, perform routine patrols, monitor access points, and document observations while delivering excellent customer service.

Formación

• Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply per state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsabilidades

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures and policies.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations calmly and follow facility protocols.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of the healthcare location including interiors, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity; report suspicious behavior and policy concerns to leadership.
• Document incidents and patrol activities accurately while maintaining a professional presence.

Pay Rate: $21.22 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 11:00 AM - 07:00 PM
• Tue: 11:00 AM - 07:00 PM
• Wed: 11:00 AM - 07:00 PM
• Thur: 11:00 AM - 07:00 PM
• Fri: 11:00 AM - 07:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following facility protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the healthcare location, including building interiors, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, patient, and staff activity; report suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy concerns to site leadership and/or appropriate personnel.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and maintain a professional presence while supporting a welcoming healthcare environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
