• Monitor access points and verify credentials per site procedures; maintain logs and incident reports.
• Communicate observations and responses professionally with site personnel and leadership.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol Operations in Santa Fe, NM, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic technology location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor access points, and assist with badge-related activities. Use computer or tablet systems to document observations and communicate professionally with employees and visitors. Bring a customer-focused approach while working with an agile, reliable, innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

Pay Rate: $19.35 / Hour

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or guests while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate logs and incident reports.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership regarding security-related observations and response activities.

Minimum Requirements

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
