As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Observer in Norwalk, CT, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and report security-related concerns. You will deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors. Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 06:00 AM - 01:00 PM
• Tue 06:00 AM - 01:00 PM
• Wed 06:00 AM - 01:00 PM
• Thur 06:00 AM - 01:00 PM
• Fri 06:00 AM - 01:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property buildings, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify maintenance or security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, provide directions and assistance, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, or property concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift communications while maintaining a professional presence throughout the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
