Job summary

Allied Universal in Mira Loma, CA is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Patrol Investigation to safeguard clients across Retail/Malls and other sectors. You’ll monitor and deter incidents with a visible presence and deliver excellent customer service while upholding Allied Universal’s values.

As a Patrol Investigator, you will work a fixed schedule with early mornings, receive on-the-job training, and have opportunities for career growth within a leading security services company.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing may be required by state/local laws.
• Valid driver's license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail distribution location, including the building exterior, parking areas, access points, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and observe vehicle, visitor, and employee activity for unusual conditions, reporting concerns to appropriate site contacts.
• Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
