As a Security Professional - Logistics Site Patrol in Fremont, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols throughout the facility. Your presence and attention to detail will help create a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and partners. You will interact with individuals on site, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication while remaining visible throughout your assigned areas. Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

What You’ll Do

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution location, including the business premises and perimeter, to help to deter unwanted activity.
Monitor for any unusual activity or potential hazards during patrols and report findings to the appropriate personnel.
Assist with access control by observing entry and exit points and verifying credentials as required.
Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal protocols.
Support the overall security-related operations of the logistics and distribution location by maintaining a visible presence and providing assistance to staff and visitors as needed.

Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements

A valid Guard Card or license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
A valid driver's license in the job state is preferred for primarily driving posts.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required.
