Job summary

Allied Universal in San Francisco is seeking a Security Officer Patrol Emergency Care to protect a technology campus and its people. You will patrol interior and exterior areas, enforce site policies, and respond to alarms with calm, decisive action.

Qualifications

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles; HS diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior spaces, exterior grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and support a professional workplace environment.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures; verify authorization and direct individuals to appropriate locations as needed.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations to site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Document patrols, incidents, and other security-related observations accurately and promptly using required reporting tools.

As a Security Officer Patrol Emergency Care in San Francisco, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control activities, and communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and partners. You will represent Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and caring culture by delivering responsive service through teamwork and integrity.

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
