Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer in Somers Point, NJ to patrol healthcare facilities, deter incidents, and provide excellent customer service to patients, visitors, and staff.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, communicating with appropriate hospital personnel and/or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, patient care areas, parking areas, entrances, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or potential hazards.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, verifying credentials as directed, and reporting unauthorized access concerns according to site-specific procedures.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activity accurately and promptly in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
