Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Driver Fleet Readiness in Johnstown, OH. You will provide security, patrol unarmed sites, and maintain a visible presence to deter incidents while delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities include routine patrols, access control, incident response, and clear communication with clients and staff. A valid driver's license is required; candidates must meet background and drug-screen standards in accordance with policy.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license in accordance with policy.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check conducted as per applicable laws.
• Criminal histories considered in accordance with laws.
• Drug screening as a condition of employment.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, shoppers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner and notify appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas and entrances/exits.
• Observe and report unusual activity, potential hazards, access concerns, and policy violations to deter theft and unauthorized activity.
• Assist with access control, visitor and vendor entry procedures, and maintaining a visible Allied Universal presence at the location.
