Job summary

Allied Universal in Rosemount, MN seeks a Part-Time Security Officer Patrol Driver to protect people and property at a distribution facility. You will perform routine unarmed patrols, maintain a visible presence, and respond to alarms while delivering excellent customer service.

Must have a valid driver’s license and be 18+; 21+ for armed roles. Schedule includes Daytime shifts on weekends. Training and career growth opportunities are available through Allied Universal.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• Experience with computers/tablets preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers while following site security procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, loading docks, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers.
• Respond to incidents, alarms and critical situations in a calm, reporting to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear reports of patrols, incidents, and access activity.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the distribution facility, parking areas, loading docks, trailer yard, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting activity.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, access activity, and other security-related observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
