Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• State/city-issued security license preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems preferred.
• Comfortably using a computer or tablet.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check will be conducted as per laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out security procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of warehouse areas and perimeters to deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor entry/exit activity and assist with check-in processes for visitors, contractors, and drivers.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations with calm, clear communication to site contacts and leadership.
• Document patrols, incidents, and security activities per site reporting procedures.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of warehouse areas, shipping and receiving zones, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity and help to deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify authorized access as directed by site procedures, and assist with visitor, contractor, and driver check-in processes.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating observations and relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Document patrols, incidents, and other security-related activities in accordance with site-specific reporting procedures.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
