Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer – Patrol Driver Alarm Panel in Newark, CA to safeguard clients at a financial institution and surrounding facilities. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to alarms, and deliver professional customer service.

This position offers flexible day/evening shifts and the opportunity to claim additional shifts via our platform, supporting personal scheduling and growth within a leading security services company.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and personnel by following site policies and emergency procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials, and report irregularities to management.
• Prepare accurate activity logs and incident reports for site management.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial services location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and report irregularities to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate activity logs and incident reports, and communicate observations to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
