Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Patrol Driver Detail in Liberty Township, OH to protect clients across Retail/Malls and other settings. You will perform routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, and deliver excellent customer service while adhering to drive-policy requirements.

The role requires a valid driver's license, background check, and the ability to work a structured schedule. Pay rate is $18.25 per hour with full-time benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must have valid driver's license per policy.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, tenants, shoppers, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail common areas, storefront corridors, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and contacting appropriate personnel when needed.
• Maintain a visible presence to help deter unauthorized activity and support an orderly, welcoming environment for shoppers, tenants, and visitors.
• Prepare accurate activity reports and communicate observations, incidents, and policy concerns to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

As a Security Officer at a retail and mall location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This driving position requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $18.25 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thur: 11:00 AM - 07:00 PM
• Fri: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sat: 11:00 AM - 07:00 PM
• Sun: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
