Allied Universal in Wichita, KS is seeking a Security Officer – Experienced Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Driver to provide reliable security services at our client site. The role offers fixed shifts with opportunities to pick up additional shifts to increase earnings.

The position requires at least 6 months of security-related experience, a valid driver’s license, and a high school diploma. Pay is $17.50 per hour with a schedule that includes day/evening shifts for part-time coverage.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned interior and exterior areas, including business operations, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor for unusual activity, unauthorized access, and potential hazards, and promptly report observations to appropriate site personnel and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation in accordance with site requirements.

As a Security Officer Experienced Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Driver in Wichita, KS, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeSat02:45 PM - 10:45 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
