Job summary

Allied Universal in Crestview, FL is seeking a Security Officer Patrol Driver with clearance to monitor and protect clients in aerospace/defense locations. This driving post requires a valid driver's license and a DoD Secret clearance.

The role is full-time with night shifts and a pay rate of $20.00 per hour. You'll deliver customer service, patrol assigned areas, deter security incidents, enforce site policies, and document observations for leadership.

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Clearance Required in Crestview, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in an aero and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify entry permissions in accordance with site protocols, and document security-related incidents, observations, and/or visitor activity as required.
• Support restricted area control, badge compliance, and escort procedures for visitors and/or vendors while following location guidelines and post instructions.

Minimum Requirements:

• An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
