Allied Universal in Houston, TX is seeking a Security Officer Patrol Driver to join our unarmed patrol team at a commercial property. You will perform routine vehicle and foot patrols, monitor access points, and provide outstanding customer service to tenants and visitors while upholding site policies.

Pay Rate: $17.51 / Hour

DayTime Tue 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
Wed 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
Thu 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
Sat 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
Sun 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You\'ll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property buildings, parking areas, common areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe site activity, reporting unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required documentation for incidents, patrols, and daily activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least two years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
