Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Badge Services in Bangor, ME, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will support access control, assist visitors and personnel, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. Pay Rate: $20.75 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, offices, parking areas, perimeter locations, and other assigned facilities.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate activity and incident documentation.
• Observe and report unusual conditions, equipment concerns, and policy violations to appropriate site personnel and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
