Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and vehicle patrols of buildings, parking areas, access points, loading areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access control points and verify credentials; report unauthorized access or violations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations with calm, professional problem-solving; notify responders as directed.
• Maintain accurate daily activity and incident reports and patrol documentation.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM


• Tue 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM


• Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM


• Thur 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.


• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, parking areas, access points, loading areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions.


• Monitor access control points and visitor activity, verify credentials in accordance with site procedures, and report unauthorized access attempts or policy violations.


• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.


• Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation while communicating professionally with Allied Universal leadership and site personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.


• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.


• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.


• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.


• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
