Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Coverage in Pawtucket, RI. • Provide customer service to residents, visitors, staff, and service providers while carrying out security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations calmly and according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas to deter unsafe activity.
• Monitor access points, observe visitor activity, and help maintain an orderly environment.
• Document incidents and patrol observations and communicate information to site leadership.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Coverage in Pawtucket, RI, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thur: 08:00 PM - 12:45 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, staff, and/or service providers while carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities in a shelter setting.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, respectful, problem‑solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior common areas, entry points, exterior grounds, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Monitor access points, observe visitor activity, and assist with maintaining an orderly environment consistent with site policies.
• Document incidents, patrol observations, and security‑related concerns accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or responding personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
