Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors while following site-specific security procedures and access-control requirements.
• Monitor entry points, verify authorization and credentials, maintain visitor logs, and report access-control concerns.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document actions taken.
• Complete detailed activity and shift documentation while safeguarding client property and operations.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $19.19 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Wed: 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM
• Thur: 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM
• Sun: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Monitor entry points, verify authorization and credentials, maintain visitor logs, and report access-control concerns in accordance with site policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, parking areas, restricted areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity or conditions requiring attention.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document actions taken.
• Complete detailed activity reports, incident reports, and shift documentation while maintaining awareness of client property and operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
