Job summary

Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services company, seeks a Security Officer Patrol Communications in Miami, FL. You will protect residents and properties, patrol assigned areas, and provide exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, visitors, and vendors by following site procedures and safety protocols.
• Respond to incidents and concerns calmly and professionally.
• Conduct regular patrols of residential areas, parking, entry points, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access and verify authorized visitors and vendors per site procedures.
• Complete daily activity reports and incident documentation; communicate with site leadership.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a residential location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service to residents and visitors. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $18.10 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 09:00 PM - 05:00 AM
• Tue 09:00 PM - 05:00 AM
• Fri 09:00 PM - 05:00 AM
• Sat 09:00 PM - 05:00 AM
• Sun 09:00 PM - 05:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, access-related issues, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of residential common areas, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to the residential property, verify authorized visitors and/or vendors in accordance with site procedures, and document relevant activity.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation, and communicate observations to site leadership and/or emergency responders as required.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Speak, read, and write fluent Spanish.
• A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
