Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol Badge Validation Customer Service in Sunnyvale, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and provide exceptional customer service. You will communicate professionally with visitors and team members while responding to security-related concerns. Pay Rate: $18.54 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or employees while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of retail areas, entrances, loading areas, parking locations, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify potential security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting unusual conditions, policy violations, and/or maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Document incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately and communicate relevant information during shift transitions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
