Allied Universal in Greencastle, IN is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Patrol with badge validation responsibilities. The role covers unarmed patrols at a commercial real estate site, delivering excellent customer service and maintaining a safe environment. Pay rate is $18.50 per hour.

Scheduling includes Day Time shifts on Saturdays and Sundays. This position emphasizes professionalism, incident response, and collaboration with site contacts to deter security concerns and support tenants

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor access points, and assist visitors and tenants with professionalism. This role offers the opportunity to deliver exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and support a welcoming environment while working with a reliable, innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or property management personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and notification procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, common areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe building activity, assisting with visitor directions, contractor coordination, and property-related inquiries in accordance with site procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, and unusual conditions accurately and promptly, communicating relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and designated site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
