As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support access control and loss prevention efforts. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally with shoppers and team members, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity. Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and store team members while carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail sales floor, entrances, stock areas, parking areas, and surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor customer and employee activity, access points, and merchandise areas; report observed policy violations, hazards, or suspicious behavior to appropriate store leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation, and communicate relevant information to incoming personnel and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
