Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is hiring a Part-Time Security Officer (Patrol Associate) in Albuquerque, NM. You will protect clients across tech, media, and telecom facilities, perform routine patrols, monitor access points, and deliver outstanding customer service.

This role offers a flexible schedule through our Claim a Shift platform and a competitive pay rate of $20.15 per hour.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• A drug screen is required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout technology, media, and telecommunications facilities, including interior spaces, exterior areas, parking locations, and perimeter boundaries.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry when assigned, and report unusual activity or conditions to site leadership.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

• Sat: 09:00 AM - 05:00 PM
• Sun: 10:00 AM - 06:00 PM

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
