Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology‑focused location by following site procedures and safety rules.
• Conduct regular foot and vehicle patrols of buildings, parking areas, access points, loading areas, and perimeter locations to identify unusual activity and hazards.
• Monitor access to assigned areas, verify visitor/contractor authorization, and document entry/exit activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies calmly and coordinate with site contacts and responders.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff documentation while maintaining a professional presence.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while supporting access control and alarm response activities. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.36 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Fri: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sun: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, parking areas, access points, loading areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy concerns.
• Monitor access to assigned areas, verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and document entry and exit activity as required.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations to appropriate site contacts and emergency responders.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff documentation, and maintain a professional presence that helps support a welcoming environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
