Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. is hiring a Security Officer for a full-time position in Rochester, MN. The role involves monitoring premises, managing access, patrolling, and enforcing site regulations while delivering solid customer service.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer/technology skills needed.
• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid/effective judgment and escalation.
• Pass pre-employment screening including drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues or suspicious activity.
• Ensure post orders are followed and rounds completed.
• Provide customer service and information to client’s employees and guests.
• Utilize technology devices during shift.
• Conduct tours of the property.
• Carry out duties of similar nature as required for assigned site.
