Qualifications

• A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused location while carrying out site-specific security procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interiors, exteriors, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to identify unusual activity.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor, contractor, and delivery authorization per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies calmly and follow established protocols with proper notifications.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff documentation for leadership and site contacts.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused location while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor, contractor, and delivery authorization in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card or applicable license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued license for security-related work is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
