• Document incidents and maintenance concerns and communicate with site leadership.

As a Security Officer Patrol Access Control in Orlando, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Cultural Institutions, and more. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour

Job Schedule: DayTimeWed05:30 PM - 09:30 PMFri11:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, congregants, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the church campus, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or activities.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor direction, event entry procedures, and traffic or parking flow as assigned.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and notification procedures.
• Document observations, incidents, and/or maintenance concerns accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
