Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Patrol in Rosamond, CA to protect clients across utilities and other industries. You will perform routine patrols, monitor access points, and maintain a visible presence to deter incidents.

This driving position requires a valid driver's license. The role offers overnight shifts (Mon & Thu 10:45 PM–07:15 AM) and opportunities to grow within a dynamic security team. Pay is $21.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license required for driving positions.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific security procedures and emergency response activities at a utility location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, equipment areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access to assigned areas, verify credentials as required, and maintain visitor and vehicle activity records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, reporting actions taken.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrol activities, incidents, maintenance concerns, and observations.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a utility location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, equipment areas, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to assigned areas, verify credentials as required, and maintain visitor and vehicle activity records in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting actions taken.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrol activities, incidents, maintenance concerns, and other security-related observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
